Correspondence preferences
Word 2003
Set your correspondence preferences to you Word package from Preferences.
Word File Type settings
On windows 2000 & XP you will need to make sure Word 2003 opens in a new browser.
Open windows explorer and Go to Tools | Folder options
Go to File Types and select the extension 'DOC' from the Registered file types and then click Advanced.
Uncheck all the options here.
Word Macro settings
Open word and go to Tools | Options.
Security | Macro security
Set the security level to Medium
Enable macro
You will have to enable the macro the first time you open a letter to edit.
You will be prompted to enable or disable the macro.
Select 'Always trust macro from this publisher' and Enable the macro.
You can now edit the letter
Save option will then upload the letter and notify you with the success message.

Correspondence preferences
Set your correspondence preferences to MS Word 2007-2013
Word Macro settings
Open word and go to File | Options.
Select Trust center | Trust Center Settings.
Select Macro settings and set it to Disable all macros except digitally signed macros
Enable macro
You will have to enable the macro the first time you open a letter to edit.
The first time you open the letter in Word, you will be prompted with a Security Warning that the macros have been disabled.
Select Enable content
You can now edit the letter
Save option will then upload the letter and notify you with the success message.
