Preferences AS

The preferences feature provides the user options to load a signature (used in correspondence generated by the system), set when and how often you receive reminders and how you use the system. It can also, if enabled, allow users to display cases, tasks and correspondence on Google/Outlook 365 calendars.

Select Preferences from the Me dropdown, located in the top navigation bar.

The options available are:

 



Understanding the options being displayed

Notifications of new work items

I will be notified of new items by email - Depending on your user permissions, you may be allowed to switch off email notifications. Click on I do NOT wish to be notified link to do this.

 

Notification of overdue work items

Send an email reminder - If you want to receive email warnings before a task is due, enter the number of days (before a task is due).

Notification of case updates

I will be notified of updates to my cases by email -  Depending on your user permissions, you may be allowed to switch off email notifications. Click on I do NOT wish to be notified link to do this.

 

Correspondence preferences

Email signature text - this will be used for any free form emails, such as ad hoc emails from the contacts tab within a case or internal emails to colleagues. Depending on the configuration of your system this can also be inserted into all email templates in the system. There is no editor to format this, however, you can use HTML tags to format the text such as make it bold, add images etc. An example of this is:

URLs can be used from the Uploaded files AS area within administration, or simply drag and drop your uploaded signature file below this box to get the URL for this.

Load an image of your signature to sign correspondence - if letters have been set up to automatically pick up a signature, you can use the load an image of your signature just click on the link Upload a new signature and you will be able to browse your local machine or file system, locate the the image then click on Load selected file.

Remove your signature image - this will remove your previously uploaded signature image from the system and any correspondence generated will not have your signature attached.

 

Edit letters with - Depending on the configuration of your system, you may have an option to select word processor you wish to use to edit letters with, either the embedded system editor, your own word processor installed on your pc, Google Docs, or Office 365. If you do not see this option, there is a system default setting for all users within the system.

 

Display preferences

You can choose how many of your open cases are displayed in a page in your manages cases screen.

You can decide to open cases in a new pop up window or in the current window.

 Set your preferences as required then Save changes.
