Reporting AS

Comprehensive management information is essential to effectively managing business processes. Useful Feedback offers a number of options to retrieve information from the system enabling the production of statistical information, exporting of information to Excel for further analysis, identification of trends, monitoring of performance and general management of the casework processes. Reports can be printed or saved as either a PDF, Excel, Rich text or HTML document.

Report Filters

The Report filter AS allows users with reporting access to multiple services(s), to define a filter to restrict the data in the reports to the service selected in the filter, for detail reports only data for the service(s) selected in the filter is included in the report results. For analysis reports then the charts only included data for the service(s) selected in the filter.

The report filter can be set by either the system administrator or by the user depending on how your system is set up and the report filter restricts data in ad-hoc reports, standard reports and the enterprise dashboard.

If data you were expecting in the reports you are running is not appearing then check that the report filter is set correctly.

If you can't see cases for specific areas or teams within the reports you may not have the correct reporting privileges set. See your system administrator to discuss your reporting privileges.

My adhoc reports

There is an adhoc reporting tool which enables you to create and share your own reports. Adhoc reports are created using a simple wizard and are used to produce detail and analysis type reports. You can also create an ad-hoc report to export data from the system to an Excel spreadsheet which enables you to carry out more detailed analysis of the data.

Shared adhoc reports

The shared adhoc reports feature allows you to run reports which have been created by other users using the adhoc reporting tool.

Drilldown reports

Drilldown reports can be set up which are then available in Ad hoc reports and the Report library where drilldown is available.

Dashboards

Dashboards allow pre-defined graphs and tables to be displayed showing key management information. Dashboards allow information to be displayed on an enterprise level (the enterprise dashboard) or at the level of specific teams (the team dashboard) thus allowing effective management of the entire operation or specific areas as required. The drill-down capability allows quick and easy acccess to the detailed information that is summarised on the dashboard.

Standard Reports

The reports library has reports grouped into logical categories that you can navigate through to run the report which best meets your needs, if it is a report you run on a regular basis you can set it as one of your favourite reports to make it easier for you to access. The report library has detail, analysis and data export type reports.

  • Detail type reports which display lists of cases with summary information about the individual cases in portrait, landscape or as an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Analysis type reports will display statistics for regular periods of time, such as months or quarters and often allow drill-down to relevant case data.

Automated Reporting

You can subscribe other users to reports so they receive the report automatically via email, the timing of the reports will be daily, monthly or quarterly depending on the report setup. The people you subscribe to a report need not necessarily be a user of the system. You can subscribe people to standard and adhoc reports.
